Environmental Science wins 1st Place Philadelphia Zoo UNLESS Contest
Mrs. Ryan's Environmental Science students of Haddon Township High School placed first in the Philadelphia Zoo's Albert M. Greenfield Foundation UNLESS Contest.á The theme this year was to "Reduce for Red Pandas," where students pledged to limit the amount of junk mail received in their homes and community to preserve the habitat of the red pandas. á áá

These Lady Hawks earnedá2nd place S. Jersey Small school divisioná4x4 in a crazy heat with 20 teams. Their time was 4:12.21 at the Penn Relays.á

Performing Arts Boston Trip
86 Visual and Performing Arts students just returned from a three day excursion to Boston on April 13 - 15! The trip was a blend of art, history, sightseeing, performing, learning and fun! The choir performed at the JFK library under the student direction of Hannah Fields. The string ensemble and orchestra performed at the Edward M. Kennedy Institute for the Senate under the direction of Mrs. Van Buren. The band also performed at the EMK Institute under the direction of Mr. Schmitt.á

The trip was planned by Marian and Dennis Smith ofáAlternative Toursá(proud parents of two HTHS graduates). It was organized by Ms. Kiick and generously supported by the VPA Parents Guild.
